Large, quiet airport with low traffic and a relaxed atmosphere. Avgas 100LL and Jet A1 available; refueling requires a BP card, and using other payment methods may incur a surcharge. Example: landing fee about €30. Parking for 24 hours about €20. Swedavia's season cards cover landing and parking fees. Facilities include a small, somewhat hidden pilot briefing room (follow [C]), and friendly staff. Terminal can feel deserted at times, but infrastructure is functional.

Opening hours vary weekly and are published by NOTAM; outside these times, PPR applies, and access to or from the airfield may not be possible. Starting or landing outside opening hours is possible with blind calls, but leaving the fenced area may be difficult when the airport is closed. Refueling is straightforward with a BP card; otherwise, expect extra steps or surcharges. Handling is generally uncomplicated, though some processes can be time-consuming.
