Borås Airport (ESGE)

No landing or takeoff fees. Fuel (AVGAS, JET-A1, UL91) available with prior phone arrangement; card payment (VISA) accepted. No flight information officer; advance call recommended for certainty and fuel coordination. Airfield is well maintained and privately operated, with significant glider activity and published procedures (see www.borasflygplats.se; Swedish only). Small huts for overnight stay may be available from the gliding club. Taxi to Borås costs about 250 SEK and takes around 10 minutes; onward bus to Göteborg about 1 hour, fare around 120 SEK per person. Taxis from Borås to Göteborg can be expensive, especially on weekends (up to 1700 SEK), while Uber may be cheaper but less available in Borås. Rental cars in Borås are limited on weekends; Hertz in Göteborg is less convenient due to relocation and city construction. Club facilities and coffee are available if someone is present.
