Sandvik Airport (ESFS)

The runway consists mainly of gravel with sparse grass, and a road crosses it about mid-runway; inspect for people or vehicles before landing. The runway supports operations even after rain, but stones on the road section may be thrown at flaps during takeoff—using manual flaps after passing the road is recommended. The circuit is on the east side, with approaches largely obstacle-free except for a wind turbine near runway 17, which should be avoided to the north before turning final. There is no airport infrastructure and no landing fee. On site, there is a yard between buildings with chairs, tables, mini-golf, games for children, and an ice-cream bar in summer.
