The handling through LS Airport Service went smoothly. I paid 801 PLN / 193 EUR for a DA42 and four people with one day of parking and €202 for 113l JET-A1. Was vectored close to ILS25 and asked to maintain 160 kt until short final.

Handling and slots are mandatory for general aviation, with LS Airport Services and Welcome Airport Services both providing attentive, professional service. Advance handling arrangement is required; LS Airport Services can be reached at 0048 723 699184 and fboepkk@lsas.aero, while Welcome Airport Services is available at handling@welcome-as.pl. Slot requests must be made through the handling agent, not directly by pilots. Parking availability for overnight stays can be limited, and requests for multi-night parking may be declined.
Fees for landing, parking, and handling combined typically range from about €150 to €200 for a short stay. Example: total fees about €200. Additional slot fees may be invoiced separately. Payment by credit card is widely accepted.
Both Jet A-1 and Avgas are generally available; fuel is arranged through the handler and payment by credit card is possible. Refueling can be delayed during busy periods.
Handlers provide apron transport to the terminal and assist with security procedures, often expediting passage through airport controls. Security screening for crew is handled in a dedicated area with a light-touch process.
Transport to Krakow city center takes 15–20 minutes by taxi or Uber, costing around PLN 75; airport taxis in the first row are more expensive than those further away. The train connection to downtown is also available and inexpensive.
Procedures are straightforward but require coordination with handlers for slot allocation and apron access. IFR arrivals may receive shortcuts on approach due to commercial traffic volume; expect professional ATC with good English proficiency. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
