Sandane/Anda Airport (ENSD)

Beautiful scenic fjord location with friendly and efficient AFIS. The airport sits on a small height above the fjord; the approach is notable, and the runway is sufficiently long but slopes down from the center toward both ends, which can be visually deceptive. Wind in the fjord may require extra attention during approach. Opening hours are limited and generally align with Widerøe flight schedules; check AIP for details. Free parking for light general aviation aircraft at all Avinor airports in Norway. No Avgas available. Car hire is possible (e.g., Avis +47 5772 5080). The town of Sandane and Gloppen Hotel are about 10 minutes away by taxi; walking to the fjord takes about 10 minutes. Camping by the fjord is possible.
