IFR approach is straightforward. Landing fee payment is possible via app, but alternatives such as cash are accepted with local assistance. Example: landing fee about €25. Fuel payment by credit card is possible, but some cards may not be accepted; local help may be needed if issues arise. A road crosses the runway, so only part of the runway may be available for small aircraft; maintain at least 70 ft over the road on approach as required by local procedures. The Heddal stave church is within walking distance. Turbulence can occur on approach in windy conditions.
