Florø offers a scenic approach and is situated close to the town, which lies attractively by the water. The airport staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. There is no Avgas (100LL) available at Florø; the nearest airfields with Avgas are Ostra-Volda or Fjorde, both requiring advance arrangements. Opening hours on weekends are limited, but at other times the airport may be staffed and lit until midnight or 24:00. The town center is within walking distance, typically about 20 minutes on foot, with bus service also available. Example: landing fee about €30. Payment may be cash only, but an ATM that accepts EC cards is available nearby.
