The runway is in good condition, but the taxiway also serves as a car racing track and can be confusing. There is no tower; use Ørland Approach on 118.25. The windsock is barely visible due to poor condition. No public sanitary facilities or infrastructure are available. The airfield is about 4 km from the nearest town, making walking time significant. Camping under the wing is possible. When landing on runway 22, the terrain drops off noticeably in the final segment, requiring attention during flare and possible go-around. It is recommended to make a low pass to check for other activities on the runway before landing.
