Sindal Airport (EKSN)

PPR is required to use the airport outside normal operating hours, such as afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Outside staffed hours (typically 8–16 local), arrivals and departures are self-service via blind transmission, with a phone booth on site offering free calls and a list of key numbers including taxi contacts. Rental cars are available for about DKK 500 per day. Example: landing and two nights parking about DKK 200. Taxis arrive promptly; a trip to Frederikshavn costs around €60, and to Sindal about DKK 170 with a driving time of 8–10 minutes. Bikes are available for rent at the airport.
