Maribo (EKMB) is a well-maintained airfield with a reputation for very friendly and helpful staff. Grass parking is available with tie-downs, and the self-service fuel station accepts major payment cards. Drinks are available for purchase in the terminal building. The landing fee for MTOM 1100 kg is 100 DKK. Example: landing fee about €20.
The airfield is somewhat remote, but a bus stop is 2 minutes on foot from the terminal, with a bus ride to Maribo costing 24 DKK and taking about 20 minutes. Taxis are available but may require waiting; a typical fare to Maribo is 214 DKK. Hangar space may be arranged on request.
Flight planning facilities are available during office hours, and flight plans can be filed on site. Wifi is available in the building for planning purposes. Outside office hours, self-service procedures apply; see AIP/NOTAM for details. A small restaurant operates on weekends.
Maribo serves as an airport of entry and is suitable as a base for exploring the Danish islands.
