The grass runway is challenging to spot; the blue hangar roof serves as a visual reference. Runway 30 has a noticeable upslope, is in good condition for the first half, but features pronounced undulations in the last third and high trees on final. Runway 12 offers an obstacle-free approach but is downhill with tall trees in the go-around area. The runway is 20 meters wide, bordered by fixed posts; low-wing aircraft with large spans may find it unsuitable. Takeoff performance should be carefully considered due to terrain and obstacles, especially with a weak northwest wind.
Landing fee is 50 DKK, with an additional 50 DKK per bicycle per day; all fees are left in an envelope. Ten rental bicycles with three-speed gears are available. Accommodation options include several nearby bed and breakfasts, camping, or sleeping under the wing. The main village Nederby is about 2 km away and offers tourist information, a taxi service for island tours, and dining options such as a local brewery and café.
Facilities include a well-maintained airfield, WC in the hangar annex, and scenic surroundings notable for fossil hunting and geological sites. The area features attractive landscapes and museums dedicated to local fossils.
