Facilities include a modern terminal with a good restaurant (Hangaar), free coffee and tea in the pilot lounge, briefing rooms with internet access, and toilets. GA parking is typically on the AZ-Apron or C5 area; marshallers or fire service staff guide aircraft to parking. Tie-downs are not always available on the apron.

Ground transport options include a bus stop directly outside the terminal (about 30 minutes to Maastricht city center), taxis, and car rental services located in the public terminal. Walking distances from parking to the terminal range from 2 to 10 minutes depending on location.

ATC is professional but can be fast-paced during busy periods. Noise abatement procedures require VFR routes via designated reporting points (such as U or H along the motorway). IFR infrastructure is robust, with ILS available. Customs/immigration is available daily between 6:00–23:00; police may be called for clearance upon arrival.
