Wycombe Air Park/Booker Airport (EGTB)

EGTB can be very busy, with glider operations on a separate runway and sometimes without radio, and ground frequency is only active during heavy traffic. There is a prescribed circuit that should be strictly followed for noise abatement. After landing on runway 27, vacate left across the grass and taxi between blue posts, which may not be shown on charts. Taxi to High Wycombe costs about £10 and takes around 10 minutes; train to London including Tube is about £20 with a journey time of 30–40 minutes. The airport office supports flight preparation and flight plan submission. Staff are described as helpful.
