Civil Airfield North Weald (EGSX)

North Weald (EGSX) operates under Stansted TMZ 2, requiring arrivals to remain below 1500 ft and squawk 7010 with Mode C. Two runways are available: a long 20/02 and a shorter 30/12, with the latter sometimes closed for skid pan training but can be made available on request. No instrument approaches are available, and the airfield closes if the cloud base is below 500 ft; operating hours are 0830 to 1900 local or sunset plus 30 minutes, whichever is earlier.
