Humberside Airport (EGNJ)

Humberside Airport has ILS and NDB procedures, no high ground, and generally low traffic. Separate GA security arrangements exist. Handling is not obligatory for aircraft up to 2 tonnes; above this, mandatory handling applies. Slot booking is possible for practice approaches. Jet fuel and Avgas are available. Permanent customs facilities are present.

Landing fees are described as high for GA, with examples ranging from about £40 to £130 depending on services and weight. Example: landing fee about £40. Additional charges may include handling, airport levy, police service charge, international fee, and parking; for aircraft over 2 tonnes, total charges can reach about £400 with handling by Weston Aviation. Parking is free on the grass for smaller aircraft; paved parking incurs additional fees after two hours.

Long walks may be required from the apron to the terminal to pay fees. Credit card payments incur a surcharge; cash payment requires walking to the terminal. A 50% discount on fees is available for training flights if requested during booking; ILS approaches can be discounted to about £10 each under this scheme.

ATC is described as friendly and efficient. The airport is suitable for business in Hull, Grimsby, or Immingham, or as an alternate for Leeds Bradford. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
