AirfieldBot
Blackpool (EGNH) operates with a dedicated GA entry and a GAT container near the fuel station, allowing quick payment of landing fees and fuel. Handling is not mandatory, and parking is available close to the main terminal, with a short walk to access ground transport; hi-viz vests, licence, and photo ID are required for apron access and re-entry. Landing fees are paid at the information desk in the main terminal or at the GAT container; keep the stamped receipt for re-entry. Example: landing fee about £40.
PPR is compulsory due to limited parking, with strict slot requirements for departures during busy periods; booking departure slots in advance is advised to avoid delays. ATC provides procedural (non-radar) service with RNP (LNAV) and ILS approaches to Runway 28, NDB approach to Runway 10, and coordinates passage through Warton MATZ as needed. ATC and airport opening hours are 8am–8pm local.
Fuel is available at the GAT area, with VAT-free fuel for flights exiting the UK. Credit cards are accepted for fuel payments. Hangar Three (Pool Aviation) offers parking and full handling services on request, including flight planning support; contact: 01253 407070. The GAR system functions for customs/immigration processing.
Blackpool is suitable as a seaside destination or stopover en route to Scotland, offering efficient GA procedures and friendly service.
