Obtained PPR by phone and were advised of ATC’s unpublished lunch break between 1200 and 1300 local. So don’t be surprised if no one answers. After vacating the runway, received Avgas directly from the fuel trailer at €2.41 per liter. Very friendly staff in the GAT, happy to help. Europcar provides airport pickup/dropoff; otherwise the airport is a good 20 minutes by taxi from the city. Used the field as a base to explore the Lake District.
16GPB for landing and 16GPB per night for parking for an AA5.
For the IFR departure to Dundee, the very friendly ATC supported us with weather and PIREPs.
Overall, a well-located airport - also highly recommended as a pure fuel stop.
