Airport Southampton (EGHI)

Fees are high, with multiple reports citing significant costs for landing, handling, and parking—parking is charged by the hour. Example: total charges for arrival/departure handling, landing, 15 hours parking, and VAT about £170. Another example lists total fees including landing, IFR charge, parking for one day, and handling at about £260. Some reports mention even higher totals when additional surcharges apply.

The airport is not primarily oriented toward general aviation. Service on the ground is described as friendly and efficient. The railway station is located conveniently close to the terminal for onward travel.
