The airport is generally open Wednesday to Sunday, with flexibility possible by prior arrangement. Landing fees are paid by bank transfer; Example: landing fee about £90. Avgas availability varies, and basic oil supplies are available from the flight school next to the terminal. Runway 10 and 28 have significant uphill slopes, with runway 28 also having a rough surface that may pose a prop strike hazard for low props; runway 04/22 is longer and has a better surface. Swansea Radio may not always respond, but blind calls are accepted if PPR has been arranged. Winds in the area are often strong and gusty, typically 15–20 kts. The airport is suitable as a stop for visiting the Gower peninsula. Staff are described as friendly and helpful.
