Tatenhill Airport (EGBM)

PPR is required and can be arranged by a brief phone call, without the need to provide aircraft registration for confirmation. The airfield has an asphalt runway 08/26 and a grass taxiway that is somewhat bumpy. Overhead join is used for circuit entry. The airfield is close to controlled airspace for East Midlands and Birmingham; when using the southern circuit, be aware of a glider site southwest of threshold 08. Avgas and Jet A1 are available. There is a small café on site. A hotel (Hampton by Hilton) connected to the National Football Centre lies south of the field. The nearest town is Burton upon Trent to the east, with train connections accessible by taxi or hitchhiking from the airfield. Example: landing fee about £12.
