Räyskälä Airport (EFRY)

Räyskälä offers a large airfield with intersecting asphalt runways, no AFIS, and is a major gliding center. No PPR is required, but reserving accommodation in advance is recommended. A self-service restaurant operates daily, and on-field lodging includes a motel with separate saunas by the lake; single rooms cost about €40, doubles about €50, with sauna access included. Avgas and Mogas are available on site, with Mogas payable by credit card at an automated pump. Landing fee is about €10. The area is surrounded by forest and lakes, providing a scenic setting. Glider and towplane activity can be intense in summer; maintain vigilance and communicate intentions clearly.
