Jämijärvi Airport (EFJM)

Uncomplicated arrivals with blind transmissions. No landing fee. Hangar use available for about €30 per day or €60 per week. Self-service fuel station at runway 09/27 accepts credit cards; taxiing to the other runway is not possible. On-field hotel offers simple, affordable accommodation and a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the grass runway, serving a lunch buffet until around 15:00. Friendly staff and natural surroundings. Gliding, parachuting, paragliding, and model flying activity occur, especially in summer; ski operations take place in winter near the hotel. Free PC for flight planning is available in the restaurant.
