Tartu Airport (EETU)

The airport has relatively little traffic and uses a remotely operated tower from Tallinn, providing a FISO service. Arrivals are straightforward, with some nearby danger areas to monitor. Airport and facilities are in very good condition. Ground staff handle refuelling, with card payment accepted; landing and parking fees are invoiced by email and paid via bank transfer. A security guard manages access in and out of the airport. Bolt taxis offer cheap and effective transport into the city, which is Estonia's second largest, and there are direct rail and frequent bus services to Tallinn. Example: landing/parking/terminal navigation fee about €30 for visiting foreign aircraft under 2700 kg.
