Schleswig-Kropp (EDXC) is accessible during the week with prior telephone coordination, requiring the airfield to be staffed. Arrivals are coordinated via Schleswig TWR for entry into controlled airspace, with handover to Kropp shortly before landing. The grass runway is 800 meters long and bordered by forest on the south side, which can cause wind effects, especially with strong southerly winds; the runway rises at the start of 27 and dips near mid-point, requiring careful approach speed management.
