The airfield is somewhat hidden and radio contact may be established late; if radio does not work, overfly and join the circuit before landing. Runway condition is generally good, though some unevenness is noted. Landing on 06 involves clearing a power line and can be sporty. Fuel is available at market rates. Camping under the wing is possible, and basic meals are offered by the on-field restaurant. The club is described as very friendly and helpful. Example: landing fee about €5; parking also about €5. The "Sauschwänzlebahn" steam railway runs directly beside the airfield.
