Binningen Airport (EDSI)

An airfield manager is usually present only on weekends; at other times, prior arrangement is necessary. After rainfall, only part of the runway may be usable, so advance contact is advised. No fuel, toilet, WiFi, or public transport are available. The airfield is situated in a noise-sensitive area; avoid overflying villages. The field is uneven and soft, located in a former moor, and limited to aircraft with MTOW up to 1250 kg. On runway 25, about 500 meters in, there is a narrow section reinforced with plastic plates approximately 5 meters wide; leaving this strip risks getting stuck. Beds and showers are available on site; camping is permitted. The nearest village with accommodation and shops is about 4 km away.
