Trier Foehren Airport (EDRT)

Ground transport options include a 10–20 minute walk to Föhren train station, with rail connections to Trier taking about 20–25 minutes. App2Drive car sharing is available for trips into Trier. Taxis are available but can be expensive or unreliable; round-trip fares to Trier may be around €80.

The tower staff are generally described as friendly, professional, and helpful, providing good service in both German and English. Customs clearance is possible with one hour advance notice by phone.
