Bad Sobernheim Domberg Airport (EDRS)

Grass runway in excellent condition, with a noticeable slope: runway 21 descends, runway 04 ascends. Marked high-voltage power lines affect the approach to 21; circuit and approach preparation are important. In crosswinds from the west, turbulence may occur on final to 21. The airfield sits in hilly terrain above the Nahe valley, offering scenic views and a short walk of about 10 minutes to the town center.

A simple on-field restaurant serves meals and drinks, typically open on weekends and holidays; daily specials are available. The headquarters of the Luftsportverband Rheinland-Pfalz is located at the airfield, hosting seminars and training events.
