EDRK is my home base. It sits on a plateau above the Mosel valley, and the approach is very scenic, especially to runway 05—you’re looking directly at the Mosel and the vineyards.
The staff there are very friendly and professional. There are parking areas on asphalt and on grass. The grass areas are well maintained and firm. Fueling is no problem—Avgas, Jet A1, and Mogas are available at the self-service pump. Just advise on the radio. For current prices use the Koblenz-Winningen Airport website. It also provides current webcam images and weather.
I find the fees fair. A landing with a Katana is around €8; a TB 10 is about €15. You can pay by card—contactless as well—at a terminal or in cash directly in the tower; AeroPS has unfortunately not been available for a few years.

Right on the field there is a Greek restaurant (highly recommended—unfortunately a bit pricey) with a terrace overlooking the runway. A 15–20 minute walk through the vineyards takes you to the town of Winningen, which has more restaurants and hotels. A taxi to Koblenz is around €30–35, but it can take a while for the taxi to arrive. If you prefer the train: Winningen station is down in the village and has good connections to Koblenz and along the Mosel valley. App2Drive rental cars are regularly available right on the field.
The approach is somewhat demanding due to the location on the plateau. Especially on short final to runway 23 you need to watch for lee-side effects. Consider touching down a bit later. There are also two tall masts nearby (see AIP/NOTAM). The traffic pattern is flown north or south depending on arrival/departure. As at other airfields, the traffic pattern should be adhered to as closely as possible for noise abatement.
