Neumagen Dhron Airport (EDRD)

Uncomplicated operations with a friendly, helpful atmosphere. Circuit procedures must be checked on www.edrd.de and strictly followed due to noise-sensitive areas; avoid these as indicated. The radio is often unattended. The main grass runway is in good condition, but the northern runway is rough and poorly marked; use the southern taxiway for landing with prior agreement or blind call. Landing and parking fees are on a donation basis via a collection box in the clubhouse. Walking to Neumagen takes about 15–20 minutes through vineyards.
