PPR is generally not available except for arrivals around 09:00, coinciding with the start of glider operations. Fees are described as very good. Example: landing and one night parking about €20. Taxi is the only reported option for transport to Rudolstadt. A small on-field restaurant exists, known as the Krawallibar, offering affordable meals, coffee, and cake. There is significant glider activity. For landing fee payment, go to the glider launch bus. The asphalt runway is available; a previous grass runway was in poor condition.
