Treuchtlingen Bubenheim Airport (EDNT)

Idyllically located grass airfield with an excellently maintained runway in the Franconian Altmühltal. The PPR request was handled at short notice and completely hassle-free by phone. On site, you can expect an exceptionally friendly welcome in a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. Landing fee DV20: 5 €. Especially valuable are the recommendations for hiking routes and regional cuisine.

We followed the tip to the archetypal Franconian beer garden "Wettelsheimer Keller" with its own brewery: reachable on foot in about 45 minutes and beautifully situated on a hill. Beer is traditionally served from wooden casks—a real highlight, albeit unfortunately without a non-alcoholic option. Accordingly, it is advisable either to plan for a sober fellow pilot for the return flight or to combine the outing with an overnight stay.
