Regensburg Oberhub Airport (EDNR)

EDNR requires PPR during the week, which is generally straightforward to arrange, but PPR fees can be high. Example: PPR and landing about €90. The airfield is located outside Regensburg, with no direct public transport; taxi pre-booking is recommended, and some pilots have arranged rides with local club members. The runway is relatively short but unobstructed, suitable for a range of GA aircraft. Pilots note wind turbulence and possible rotor effects in all wind directions due to the plateau location; caution advised, especially on approach to runway 10, which features a preceding forest and a slope. Restaurant availability varies; at times there is no on-field gastronomy. Avgas and JetA1 are available, but not Mogas.
