Gunzenhausen Reutberg Airport (EDMH)

The airfield is easy to find, situated near the Brombachsee behind a distinctive forest edge, and is well-suited for short trips. Staff are consistently described as very friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are available on site, and sometimes cake or bratwurst is offered; a clubroom provides refreshments even when not fully staffed. Bicycle rental is available for access to the nearby lake or town, with Gunzenhausen reachable in about 15 minutes on foot and the Altmühlsee waterside in 15–20 minutes. The area offers good opportunities for recreation and excursions.

Landing fees are low. Example: landing fee about €10. Only Avgas is available for fuel. The field is operated by the local Aero Club.

Circuit should be flown accurately due to local noise sensitivity, and turbulence may occur on approach to runway 24, especially with a northerly wind component. The asphalt runway slopes noticeably towards 24. PPR is straightforward.
