The little grass field is home to an extremely friendly and very active aero club. The AD is PPR, however you‘re welcome to call in on the radio and see if someone is there. On weekends and nice days that’s almost guaranteed. Unattended operations are restricted to based aircraft but you can apply for PPR and someone will come out. Fees are modest, see https://www.lsvgz.de/flugplatz for details.

As in many places in Germany noise sensitive neighbors are a problem to the airfield operator, so stick to the published pattern for noise abatement.

The runway can be a bit rough, especially in the winter. Pilots of aircraft with retractable gear or tight wheel pants may want to land somewhere else in these conditions.
