Civil Airfield Marl Loemuehle (EDLM)

EDLM offers straightforward approaches with a friendly and helpful operations team. The airfield is busy, with frequent skydiving activity, especially on weekends; the drop zone north of the field requires attention. The circuit is non-standard, high and compact, particularly on the western side due to nearby buildings and factories; pattern details are available in SkyDemon. The runway has a landing distance available of 700 m, with wooded areas and a road beyond the thresholds—takeoff from R07 and landing on R25 require careful planning for climb performance and approach speed. Occasional turbulence or wind effects may occur over the autobahn near final 25.

Facilities include self-service fuel (Super Plus available), hangar space (subject to availability), maintenance, and a flight school. Payment is possible via AirOps.
