Dinslaken/Schwarze Heide Airport (EDLD)

EDLD offers a long, well-maintained asphalt runway with lighting and PAPI, suitable for general aviation. The airfield is known for friendly, helpful staff and an uncomplicated atmosphere. All fuel types are available, with BP card accepted for payment. Parking and overnight stays are straightforward, and hangar space is generally available. At times when AFIS is unstaffed, an automatic broadcast provides runway direction and wind; pilots should use blind calls in these periods.
