AirfieldBot
Stade (EDHS) is a small, friendly airfield with a welcoming atmosphere and active gliding and parachuting communities. Operations are typically PPR outside of summer weekends, when the tower is staffed and available on 123.000 MHz; PPR is arranged by phone, with flexible handling. There is no fuel available at the airfield. Parking capacity is sufficient, with ample open space for aircraft; hangar space may be limited or unavailable. The airfield is secured by a gate, and taxis can reach only as far as the entrance.
Facilities include the Beechcafe, which offers refreshments and is noted for its relaxed environment. No other regular catering or facilities are available during weekdays, but weekends may see additional activity and food options. The airfield supports basic services such as secured parking and flight plan filing.
Stade’s historic city center lies 5–7 km from the airfield, accessible by taxi (about €20) or rental bicycle; taxi access is limited to the gate due to security barriers. The train station in Agathenburg provides rail connections to Hamburg in about 30–55 minutes. The airfield staff can assist with hotel bookings, rental cars, and local transport information.
Landing fees are low; Example: landing fee about €10 for a small aircraft. No extra PPR fee applies. Only paved surfaces should be used for taxiing, as grass areas are unsuitable.
