Hartenholm Airport (EDHM)

EDHM offers an asphalt runway with regulated opening hours. PPR is required, and communication with the operator can be difficult, with reports of language barriers and unreliable phone or email responses. Fees are described as high for the region, with one example: landing about €130 plus parking. Facilities are generally in poor condition, with neglected grounds, basic or unavailable catering, and limited services beyond parachuting activity. Fuel availability has been inconsistent, sometimes requiring cash or EC card. The approach to runway 23 is challenging due to high trees near the threshold, a displaced threshold leaving about 500 m usable for landing, and turbulence in westerly winds; a steep final is advised. Parking areas and hangars are reported as poorly maintained. Ground transport options are limited; pick-up is recommended for access to nearby towns. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
