Grube Airport (EDHB)

EDHB features a well-maintained grass runway with a slight upslope on 09 and a downslope on 27. The airfield is known for its friendly and helpful staff, who assist with local transport arrangements and are accommodating outside regular hours. Super+ fuel is available, with Avgas offered when in stock; payment for landing can be made via Aerops, while parking and fuel require other methods. Parking is available at about €5 per night. Bicycles can be rented on the field for trips to nearby destinations such as Dahme beach (4–5 km away), and the town of Grube is 5 minutes on foot. Accommodation may be offered on request, and there is a Greek restaurant in Grube approximately 1.1 km from the airfield. The local bus stop has limited service, so alternative transport may be needed. Maintenance support is available from specialists based at the field. The airfield operates as a Sonderlandeplatz, so PPR is required; see AIP/NOTAM for procedures.
