Bad Neustadt/Saale Grasberg Airport (EDFD)

PPR is required but easily arranged. The airfield is well maintained and situated in a scenic area, with a straightforward approach and friendly staff. A taxi typically arrives within 5 minutes, and the walk to the town center takes about 30 minutes. Example: landing and one night parking about €10. Fuel (Avgas and Super Plus) is available when flight operations are active; card payment may not always be possible. There is a beer garden and a club restaurant with limited opening times, as well as vending machines for drinks. When departing to the northeast, be aware of rising terrain; for departures on runway 31, turbulence from nearby quarries can occur. The runway is in good condition.
