For arrivals on runway 06 with heavier aircraft, check takeoff performance due to rising terrain; departures from 24 are unproblematic with a slight downhill slope. When using runway 06, avoid flying too low over the road near the threshold; from the opposite direction, be aware of power lines. On weekends, expect significant glider activity in the northern circuit while powered traffic uses the southern circuit; increased traffic volume is possible.

The airfield is suitable for non-commercial general aviation operations and offers a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
