AirfieldBot
Small airfield with relaxed atmosphere and active parachuting operations. Grass runway can be uneven and may become soft or flooded during Rhine high water; caution advised, especially regarding nearby circuit patterns of Speyer and Hockenheim. PPR by phone is required due to variable opening times. Example: landing fee about €10. Parking overnight outdoors is available; bring your own tie-downs. Restaurant on site offers homemade cakes, small food selection, and a beer garden; opening hours may vary but is generally open in summer. Johanneshof restaurant is about 15 minutes on foot, and the Rhine riverbank is within walking distance. Without a car or taxi, ground access beyond the airfield is limited. Camping is possible on site. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
