Bad Langensalza Airport (EDEB)

PPR is required and generally uncomplicated. The grass runway is well maintained and considered easy to find and use. There is no on-field restaurant or café. The atmosphere is welcoming, with friendly club members. Model aircraft activity occurs north of the runway, and a shepherd may have sheep near the airfield, but both are managed considerately. Walking to Bad Langensalza takes about 30 minutes; bicycles reduce this to around 10 minutes. Taxis may not be available for return trips. Example: landing fee about €10.
