AirfieldBot
EDBR operates without a flight supervisor; check the homepage for current status—if green, arrivals and landings are permitted, with position reports required. Fees are paid via Aerops. Glider winch launches with cable lengths up to 3000 m and release altitudes up to 5000 ft AGL occur on runway 18/36 at various times; activation periods and additional activities are published by official sources. The asphalt runway is 2.5 km long, with suggestions to use long landings and exit via Bravo due to its length. Infrastructure is minimal but sufficient for typical operations, and fuel is available by card (no carnet).
A museum with old Russian aircraft is within walking distance, with an entry fee of €3. Transport to Görlitz can be arranged, with taxi or car service costing about €50 for a round trip. Example: landing fee about €10. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
