Pinnow Airport (EDBP)

PPR is required and can be arranged easily via form or phone. The airfield is known for its friendly and helpful team, with consistently positive feedback on service and assistance. The grass runway and taxiways are generally well maintained, though caution is advised when taxiing near the fenced parking area due to occasional roughness. Aircraft are parked in a fenced area, and tie-down materials are available.

Transfers to Schwerin are frequently offered by staff or arranged on request; bus and taxi connections to the city exist, with some visitors recommending negotiating a fixed taxi price. A nearby lake offers swimming opportunities in summer. Example: landing and overnight parking about €10.

Noise-sensitive areas require attention during circuit procedures, particularly when approaching runway 19; avoid overflying the village of Gneven as indicated in local guidance. No fuel is available at the airfield. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
