Very friendly tower controller on frequency and also when paying the landing fee. Runway and taxiways are very well maintained. Will definitely be back! The restaurant was very busy. From the terrace you have a good view of the airfield; when reserving, ask for a terrace table. The food at the on-site Italian restaurant was excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff, with consistently uncomplicated arrivals and departures. The taxiway crosses a public road controlled by a traffic light, allowing aircraft to reach parking and the fuel station; this is a notable feature. Avgas and Jet fuel are available, with payment possible via Aerops. When taking at least 200 liters of fuel, landing is free. Example: landing fee about €10. Hall parking is available on request, and runway and taxiways are well maintained.
An Italian restaurant operates on the field, officially opening at 17:30 but often open at midday as well; it is praised for quality food and service, with terrace seating overlooking the airfield. Reservations are recommended for weekends. A bus stop is located directly outside the airport entrance, providing public transport connections to Riesa, Meissen, and Dresden.
