Atlin Airport (CYSQ)

Description: The Atlin airport is a roughly 2km walk into town. In town there are a few lodging and food options, but make sure to confirm the hours of the restaurants first. On-field camping is available too if you prefer to stay next to your plane. If so, a pit-toilet is located on the field near the fuel pumps.

WiFi: There is limited WiFi available at the fueling cardlock area.

Comments from pilots: - Please know this is from a passenger perspective. My husband is the pilot. Don’t miss a chance to experience this charming community on the shore of Atlin Lake. First of all the lake is stunning! We camped two nights under the wing in the grassy area beyond a row of trees north of the fueling station. The is a very clean (new?) pit toilet adjacent the fuel tanks but you will need to bring water or be prepared to pay $8.95 for a 4 liter bottle at the store. There are two restaurants in town that try to coordinate so at least one is open. We spent a 3rd night at the Brewery Bay Inn (photos posted) It’s an easy mile walk to town. (2023-07-02, 1 helpful)
